That’s it really, that’s the whole post. I’m officially going to be the writer for the main Star Wars comic for Marvel starting this May!! Without further ado, here’s the main cover from my old friend Phil Noto:
I’ve known Phil forever, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on this book as the main artist! We’ve already been announced as having a story in this year’s Free Comic Book Day: Star Wars one-shot, so make sure to give that a read on May 4th (the best day for a Star Wars story) for your first taste of what’s to come!

It's a huge honor — and massive responsibility — to steer the Star Wars flagship, and I couldn't ask for a better collaborator than Phil Noto, who is just a masterful artist, and a Star Wars visionary.
Now that we've put the period at the end of the Galactic Civil War with the Battle of Jakku, we can speed ahead into a new, uncharted era, with some new galactic threats, foes, and mysteries for our beloved heroes to grapple with, blending the familiar with the new and shocking. These stories will be packed with action and the character moments Star Wars fans have come to expect, featuring twists on the galaxy and landscape we know, with an eye toward making sure people can jump in easily and with any issue. We can't wait.
Speaking of the Battle of Jakku, it all comes to a bombastic finale tomorrow in Last Stand #4, with art by Jethro Morales, colors by Jim Campbell, and lettering by Joe Caramagna! Make sure you don’t miss it, this issue in particular is really going to set the stage for our ongoing.
