Final Gambit
The grand finale of my Star Wars series is finally here!
OUT OF THE DARKNESS!
Hey friends!
Today’s the big day, it’s the release of my last Star Wars comic (for now).
My friend and amazing Star Wars artist Phil Noto went out on a high with this last main cover, and we were so lucky to have such great variant covers from Carmen Carnero, John Tyler Christopher, and Taurin Clarke.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away (2025), I celebrated the release of issue #1 with art by Phil Noto. With today’s issue #10, I wrap up the story I’ve been telling since The Battle of Jakku in 2024. In today’s market, being able to tell 20+ issues of one story feels like a major accomplishment, and I’m grateful to have been given the opportunity!
I’d like to once again shout-out the Marvel and the Star Wars crew (C.B.Cebulski, Robert Simpson, Mike Siglain, Mark Paniccia, Grace Orriss, Mikey J. Basso, and Drew Baumgartner) for helping to shepherd this book through, month-in and month-out. Our incredible designer Carlos Lao and letterer Clayton Cowles deserve their flowers.
I’d also love to give a big shout to the amazing artists I had the pleasure of working with, starting with Phil Noto, Leonard Kirk, Stefano Raffaele, Jethro Morales, Ramon Rosanas, Luke Ross, Pete Woods, Chris Sotomayor, Alex Sinclair, Rachelle Rosenberg, and more! Most importantly, I want to thank you, dear readers, for supporting us throughout this whole journey! It’s been wild to be able to tell such an important chapter of SW lore, and I appreciate the support and guidance the fandom has provided. Hope we did y’all proud.
Here’s just a quick look at the work from Luke, Chris, and Clayton in this issue:

MORE COMICS!
And don’t forget to pre-order Dick Tracy Vol. 3 before Final Order Cut-Off on Monday. This collects issues #11-15, and it’s the perfect way to get back into our series before a new story kicks off in issue #16 starting this April (with the Dick Tracy St. Patrick’s Day Special dropping in the meantime)!

Finally, make sure to come by Everyone Comics & Collectibles’ new location this Sunday at 41-26 27th St in Queens! They’ve got a big celebration from 11am to 6pm for the Lunar New Year with signings from myself, Ethan Sacks (Predator: Badlands, Star Wars: Bounty Hunters), Danny Lore (Bloodline, James Bond) & Jay Edidin (Jay & Miles X-Plain the X-Men).

WEBCOMICS!
Did you know that I’m currently co-writing not just one, but two webcomics for you to enjoy? The first of which is The Forgotten Five, a Patreon-run series created by Sara Century and myself with art by Pat Kennedy, Dean Kotz, Craig Cermak, and Oliver Mertz, letters by Chas! Pangburn, and editing by Priya Saxena. Click this link or the picture below to find out more! We also launched a companion podcast for the series all about books and issues that influenced its creation. Episode 2 just went up (featuring the Why Not?! Alpha Flight podcast hosts Tom Flynn and Chris Baker), so now’s the perfect time to dive in!
My second webcomic is Phantom 2040: A New Shadow, currently running every Friday on Comics Kingdom! I write it with my Dick Tracy brother-in-arms Michael Moreci, with art by John Amor and George Kambadais. Click here or the picture below to start from the beginning!
